Peachtree City

We left Sarasota and headed toward Peachtree City to visit with our friends, Felicia and Bruce.  I've been friends with Felicia since we taught together 30 years ago and since that time she's added Bruce to the mix.  Great food, good wine and lots of laughter.

When you walk into their house, you get a perfect reflection of her personality.  If you like muted colors, everything matching and with a purpose, you've come to the wrong place.

You'll find this bear watching you in the family room.

Her formal living room is a testimony to their love of buffaloes.  This rug is her newest addition-a present from Bruce.  I may never get up!

                                                             And they actually sing!

                                                                 Blue glass anyone?

Two of the many animal statues found throughout their property.

                                                      Entrance to the backyard.

Laddy (ie?), their rescue dog.  Won't even go into that story!

The dining room, also known as the "Asian Room"

Having Sunday brunch in the backyard.  Ten deer showed up that evening.

                                                            FRIENDS FOREVER!

On the Waterfront

The season is winding down.  People are leaving for the north country.

Al and Chris have a beautiful boat, Amberjack,  that is sitting on the dock of the bay at Sarasota Harbor.

As usual, there is lots of drinking, eating and solving the problems of the world.

Some even look to the sky for help.

Others are hoping to be saved.

And some think that a baptism is needed.  Oy Vay!

Mr. Phred says "why have a wooden statue when you can have this on the bowsprit!"

Girls just wanna have fun!

Bonne nuit!    À la prochaine
