Back to Barcelona

We discovered in New York that American expected us to take a taxi from Laguardia to JFK.

They offered us a change to JFK for $5,600 so I decided to take the $33 taxi ride instead.

We're in the Gotic area near the beach and La Ramblas. We've been wandering the back allies of the old Gotic streets, looking at cathedrals and the aquarium.

We all slept a long time the first night and got moving about 11 AM.

We spent most of the day exploring the Sagrada Familia.

The Barcelona soccer game is tomorrow.

I can't access the pictures I took because Windows 10 can't see my SD card. Gateway doesn't have a new driver yet.

So these pictures are from Mrs. Phred's Iphone.

Life's little challenges.

Gaudi and Tesla...the line between genius and insanity frequently is blurry.

Who else would have thought to use twisted hyperbolas in construction to maximize sunlight inside a building?

You can see the changes happening quickly now....the construction started in 1888. It won't be done in my lifetime.
