Salobrena

There is a tilde thing over the "n" in Salobrena, which makes it sound like Salobrenya...

The cruise ship  stops in Motril to allow some passengers to take a 90 minute bus trip to the Al Hambra...We've been there and seen that so we take the advice of Tripadvisor and charter a taxi five miles west to the little hilltop town of Salobrena...

We eventually conclude that "up" is the proper direction...

The Arabs have built yet another hilltop fortress...

 The views are good..

It's 15 euros each way....after we return to the ship I realize that I've left the camera in the Taxi....we take another taxi back and get the camera from the 1st driver...with a 5 euro reward, we're now looking at a 65 euro tab for taxis and a little bill for white wine and jamon (ham and bread)...
